Mental Health Support Specialist

About the Role
\We are seeking a motivated and caring Mental Health Support Specialist to join our team at Academics LTD. As a Graduate Behaviour Interventionist, you will have the opportunity to work with vulnerable young people and support their mental health needs.
\Key Responsibilities:

- Provide emotional support and guidance to young people experiencing mental health issues\
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement individualised plans for each student\
- Support students in achieving their goals and improving their overall well-being\
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment\
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure effective communication and support\
- Attend training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge\
- Meet with parents and carers to discuss student progress and provide updates\
- Assist with administrative tasks and maintain accurate records\
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to decision-making processes\
- Comply with company policies and procedures\
- Adhere to confidentiality and data protection guidelines\\/ul\[
Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Psychology or a related field\
- Experience working with vulnerable young people\
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills\
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment\
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills\
- Flexibility and adaptability\
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges\
- Understanding of mental health issues and their impact on young people\
- Awareness of relevant legislation and policies\\/ul\[
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum
