About the Role

Zest is seeking a highly skilled Bid Management Specialist to join our sales team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development of winning bids and proposals to secure new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage bid management plans to ensure successful bid responses to proposals and tenders.
  • Assemble and manage virtual bid teams comprising stakeholders from across the business to prepare winning bids.
  • Identify value propositions and develop high-scoring proposal content that clearly articulates the benefits of our solution to meet specific client needs.
  • Maintain responsibility for quality and consistency in bid management.
  • Support the Bid Writers with their submissions, including help with storyboarding and providing feedback on written quality responses as required.
  • Support the Head of Bid with training and development of the Bid team, in line with wider strategic goals.
  • Engage with other sales team members and the wider business to ensure thorough and compelling bids are written and submitted.
Requirements
  • Proven experience of bid and proposal management.
  • Proven experience of managing multiple projects, timelines, and varied resources efficiently.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Strong commercial knowledge.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to take calculated risks.
