We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to fill the role of Assistant Director of Nursing Care at our long-term care village in Whitby, Ontario.
Job Summary:This is a full-time position that requires a strong leader who can direct department(s) in a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working with people living with dementia and understand how to support individuals expressing personal expressions.
The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
Responsibilities:- Lead and direct department(s) in a healthcare setting
- Support the delivery of IPAC education to team members, caregivers, volunteers, students, visitors, and residents
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulations specific to infection control
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current Heart Save Level of CPR certification
- Three (3) years of experience leading and directing department(s) in a healthcare setting
