Service Care Solutions - Construction is seeking a skilled Parking Project Manager to join their team in North West London.

This is a full-time, temporary position on an ongoing role for approximately 12 months, offering hybrid working and a competitive day rate.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a range of complex and strategically important Parking Services projects, including the development and implementation of relevant policies and a parking strategy for the Council.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To plan, manage, and deliver a range of complex and strategically important Parking Services projects.
  • To work across a range of departments and with relevant project sponsors to deliver agreed project outcomes and allocate resources within agreed budgets.
  • To work with Directors, Heads of Service, service managers, and other stakeholders to influence, negotiate, and persuade them to help deliver Parking Services projects.
  • To provide agreed progress updates and advice to the Council, Cabinet, Scrutiny Panels, and other managers and staff across the organization.
  • To provide guidance and challenge to individual project sponsors on the most effective approaches to project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Project Management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2, Project Management Professional, Agile, or equivalent).
  • Ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the business, including occasional working outside of usual hours.
  • Knowledge of innovative approaches to transforming services in local government and their practical application.
  • Highly developed inter-personal skills, including the ability to empathize with others and influence, negotiate, and persuade peers and more senior stakeholders.
