The Ecological Programme Development Director will be responsible for overseeing the development of various projects under the Reconnecting Bernwood, Otmoor, and the Ray programme.

Job DescriptionThis role requires an experienced professional with expertise in project management, ecological conservation, and stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing the delivery of the 2-year development phase of the NLHF funded RBOR programme;
- Coordinating contracts for cross-cutting themes such as monitoring and evaluation plans;
- Overseeing project staff and ensuring effective team performance;
- Writing and coordinating round 2 funding applications and associated documents;
- Tracking and monitoring budgets and deadlines;
- Providing regular reports to the project steering group and escalating risks when necessary;
- Ensuring the quality control of the project programme across all themes;
- Developing and maintaining relationships with project partners, farmers, and landowners;
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A proven track record in writing successful funding applications for large co-created projects;
- Excellent project management skills, including budget management and staff supervision;
- Proficiency in MS Office functions, including Word, Outlook, and advanced Excel;
- A valid UK driving license;
- Strong communication and representation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders;
We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
