Community Engagement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Community Engagement Lead to join our team at NRS Healthcare. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategy to engage with our community of service users, stakeholders, and operational partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a community engagement strategy to improve relationships with service users, stakeholders, and operational partners.
- Lead engagement with community groups, stakeholders, and operational partners to create a strategy and annual plan for communication and engagement.
- Organize and promote engagement events locally to foster connections with our community.
- Lead the delivery of surveys and feedback from users, carers, prescribers, and other stakeholders, ensuring all feedback is responded to, analyzed, and reported as a coordinated picture of how the service is seen.
- Create and produce local communications with stakeholders, promoting awareness and understanding of what the service offers and how stakeholders can best work with us and make the most of our services.
Requirements:
- Experience of working within a health or social care setting and knowledge of the services provided by various organizations in this area.
- A good understanding of clinical governance and standards, including outcome measures.
- Understanding of the social and health needs of the groups of service users we work with, including those who are older, frail, living with dementia, have long-term conditions, or disabilities.
- Experience of managing multiple projects and responsibilities with the ability to prioritize and organize work effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including demonstrable knowledge and practice of customer care.
- A social care or clinical qualification (such as nursing, physiotherapy, or occupational therapy) would be an advantage but is not required.
- Understanding of customer research and survey techniques and analysis.
- A UK driving license is required.
