Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and empathetic support worker to join our team in Bellshill, providing personalized support to our client Kate.

As a Women's Empowerment Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing Kate's independence, self-esteem, and overall well-being.

Your primary responsibilities will include supporting Kate with daily activities, promoting her autonomy, and assisting her in achieving her personal goals.

You will work closely with Kate to understand her needs, preferences, and values, ensuring that your support is tailored to meet her unique requirements.

In this role, you will be expected to demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with Kate and other stakeholders.

Prior experience in a similar role or working with individuals with learning disabilities or mental health issues would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Kate with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores
  • Encourage and facilitate Kate's participation in social activities, hobbies, and interests
  • Maintain accurate records of Kate's progress and challenges
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as healthcare workers and social workers, to ensure comprehensive support
  • Ensure Kate's safety and well-being at all times
