Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced IT Service Management professional to join our team at FactSet as a Service Asset and Configuration Management Director. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned leader to shape the future of our configuration management practices, drive business value through process excellence, and lead high-performing teams.

About the Role:
  • Leverage your expertise in IT service management to develop and implement industry-leading configuration management processes that align with industry best practices (e.g., ITIL).
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on process efficiency, automation, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, procurement, and finance, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Mentor and coach junior resources to develop their skills and contribute to the growth of the team.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritizing tasks effectively and meeting deadlines while maintaining high standards.
Key Responsibilities:Configuration Management:
  • Develop and maintain policies, standards, processes, and procedures for configuration management.
  • Define and implement the structure and approach for the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
  • Ensure proper identification, control, recording, reporting, auditing, and verification of IT assets and configuration items.
Asset Management:
  • Define, implement, maintain, and continually improve policies, standards, processes, and procedures for asset management.
  • Manage software and hardware inventories to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Perform regular audits and reconcile discrepancies in asset inventories.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Three years of experience leading Configuration and Asset Management, Software Asset Management, and Software Lifecycle Management practices, preferably within the financial services or data analytics sectors.
  • Five years' of management experience, leading small and effective teams and supporting the career development of junior resources.
  • Ten years' of demonstrated experience adopting ITSM good practices, preferable within the financial services or data analytics sectors.
  • ITIL (v3 or above) certification, ideally at Intermediate or Expert level.
Salary:

The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
