We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at North Walsham Ward, a 24-bedded unit providing rehabilitation and palliative care to patients with varying complexities of need.

About the Role

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering and coordinating care to a named group of patients, working proactively to achieve unit and trust goals and objectives. You will also be expected to work with and promote recognised policies, protocols, and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care, prioritising individual needs and promoting independence.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve unit and trust objectives, ensuring seamless care delivery.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Person Specification
  • Registered Nurse on the appropriate part of the NMC Register.
  • Experience of working with patients with multiple pathologies and developing and delivering care plans designed to meet their needs.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to maintain and improve standards of care.
Communication
  • Able to communicate effectively in written and verbal English Language.
  • Willing to undertake appropriate training.

  • Flexible/positive approach to work.
  • Ability to identify with the Trust commitment to safeguarding vulnerable adults.

Salary and Benefits

£28,407 to £34,581 a year pro rata per annum.
