Job Summary

We are seeking an accomplished sales professional to join our team at Salt as a Senior Account Director - Global Business Development. This is an executive-level opportunity to manage one of our biggest clients in the Travel and Transportation sector while growing our business.

About the Role

As a Senior Account Director, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts, including one of the largest accounts in the sector. Your key objectives will include building client trust, devising account strategies, driving sales, and overseeing the operations and performance of the account P&L.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute account strategies to drive sales growth and expand our presence in the Travel and Transportation market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and insights on the role of digital solutions in the Travel and Transportation sector.
  • Manage sales targets, disciplined account forecasting, and performance reporting to ensure accurate and timely delivery of results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales plans and strategies.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth and expansion.

Requirements

  • Strong sales experience with exposure to sizable deals £10million+.
  • A proven track record of building relationships with senior client stakeholders.
  • Industry insights on the role of digital solutions in the Travel and Transportation market.
  • Experience in managing sales targets, disciplined account forecasting, and performance reporting.
  • Capacity to operate independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Expertise in opportunity qualification, bid management disciplines, controls, and winning sales plans.
