Senior Social Worker Adults Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Adults Assessment Team at Wokingham Borough Council.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate referred cases and assess the needs of individuals to determine eligibility for health funding.
- Collaborate with other care workers and clinicians to conduct complex assessments.
- Support the Team Manager in designing and delivering training for CHC, S117, Continuing Care, and other funding streams.
- Contribute to high levels of day-to-day team and individual performance.
Requirements:
- Full SWE registration and over 3 years post-qualified experience in Adults Social Services.
- Strong social work qualification and excellent assessment skills.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with Tuesdays spent in the office.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of expertise and professionalism. As a Senior Social Worker, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of individuals and making recommendations for health funding. You will work closely with other care workers and clinicians to ensure that assessments are conducted to the highest standard.
