We're looking for an experienced Manufacturing Improvement Specialist who can lead trials to develop new products and improve existing processes.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and a passion for improving efficiency and quality.

Your Responsibilities
  • You will lead trials to develop new products, documenting all relevant information in trial reports.
  • You will collect objective product measurements from trials, including dimensions, aw, pH, and other relevant measures.
  • You will input relevant information into product records and ensure production trial documents are audit-ready.
  • You will lead, coach, and develop a team of Product and Process Technologists.
Our Requirements
  • You should have experience in developing and maintaining in-depth knowledge of the site's manufacturing capabilities, systems, and processing parameters.
  • You should be familiar with operating root cause analysis techniques for problem-solving and evaluating shelf life results.
  • You should have expertise in interpreting customer code of practice with strong food legislation and legal knowledge, as well as understanding of HACCP and site technical standards.
  • You should have experience in manufacturing development process and successful product launches.

The estimated salary for this role is £55,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience.
