About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled High Resolution Geophysical Data Specialist to join our dynamic team in Southampton. As a key member of our small team, you will work on diverse geophysical surveying projects, focusing on vessel mobilisation, data acquisition, and processing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setup and operate geophysical survey equipment
  • Conduct quality control (QC) of data both onboard and remotely
  • Process and interpret geophysical data
  • Develop Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
  • Manage data and reporting processes
  • Research and implement improvements in geophysical methods
  • Assist in training and mentoring other team members

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant geoscience discipline and experience with magnetometer processing and interpretation, shallow high-resolution seismic processing or interpretation, sidescan sonar processing and interpretation, and shallow high-resolution marine geophysical data acquisition.

Schedule:

The position offers flexible working hours when in the office, standard hours from Monday to Friday, and weekend work during field operations with time off in lieu.
