About the Role

As a Clinical Assessor, you will work with customers to assess their clinical needs and create written reports for the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP). This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and compassion. If you are a registered nurse, occupational therapist, or physiotherapist looking to transition into a new career path, this could be an ideal opportunity.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

You will assess up to four customers per day, taking clinical observations and questioning, and creating written reports. These reports will be used by the DWP to make decisions on support for the customers. You will work with customers who have multiple clinical issues and will receive industry-leading training to develop the necessary skills.

Training and Development

The training provided by our client is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed for this role. The course will last approximately six months, during which time you will be paid. This program is a great opportunity to develop your career as a medical professional and maintain your registration with relevant bodies.

About the Salary

The estimated salary for this role is £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. This is a competitive salary that reflects the importance of this role in supporting customers and making decisions about their benefits.
