Job Overview

Addleshaw Goddard is a leading international law firm with a strong presence in the market. We are currently seeking an experienced International Business Development Specialist to join our team.

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience

Job Description:

  • Embed a systematic approach for capturing and tracking referrals as well as engagement activities with our preferred firms. This will involve developing and implementing strategies to increase referral rates and enhance relationships with key clients.
  • Regularly analyse the referral data, including financials, to distil themes and identify opportunities. You will be responsible for sharing your findings with relevant stakeholders, including the Executive, Sector Heads, Group Heads, and other teams as necessary.
  • Support the ongoing management of AG's Global Connect firm network, including all associated infrastructure, tools, and resources. As a specialist in business development, you will be expected to provide guidance and support to the team in this area.
  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns and marketing materials, including brochures, newsletters, and presentations. Your creative input and attention to detail will be essential in producing high-quality materials that showcase our services.
  • Support the production of new financial reporting and business analysis for international business groups and related preferred firms. You will work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely delivery of reports.
  • Tracking budget spend across Global Connect and International Business Groups. This involves monitoring expenditure and providing regular updates to senior management.
  • Evaluate international deal experience and collate it for easy access, supporting both the Bids Team and BD Team with Pre-Qualification Questionnaire type responses or population of other standard content for bids. Your ability to gather and synthesise information will be crucial in this role.
  • Collaborate with the Internal Communications Team to develop and deliver effective internal and external comms plans around our international work to successfully engage the firm and deliver real change. You will play a key role in shaping the narrative around our global activities.
  • Own the global intranet pages and keep all resources up to date and responsive to the needs of our clients and partners. Your organisational skills will be essential in maintaining accurate and engaging content.
  • Use CRM system, Interaction, to assist with enquiries and support engagement activities and use Vuture to provide e-marketing support for events and publications (setting up invite lists through to creating and managing the full invite process) and support on events organisation, coordination, and management for the events run by the International Business Groups in London such as seminars, webinars, and conferences. Your technical expertise will be vital in using these systems effectively.
  • Support on meeting requests and IBA Annual Conference attendance. You will assist in coordinating logistics and ensuring smooth execution of events.
  • Contribute to market research on business opportunities, trends, competitor analysis. Your insights will help inform strategic decisions within the firm.
