About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Lead Nurse to join our team at Operose Health. As a Lead Nurse, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and guidance to our nursing team, ensuring that our patients receive high-quality care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the nursing team, ensuring that our patients receive high-quality care and support.
  • Work closely with the regional nursing, operational, and GP team members to ensure that all targets are met in line with current guidelines and standards within national service frameworks.
  • Act within your professional boundaries, providing care for the presenting patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care.
  • Demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnostic skills, for patients within the general practice.
  • Work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures, and providing nurse leadership as required.
Requirements
  • First-level UK registered nurse or registered AHCP with at least 2 years post-qualified experience.
  • Non-medical Prescriber.
  • Demonstrates sound evidence of academic links.
  • Extensive clinical experience in Primary Care Health settings and managing nursing teams.
  • Understanding of the Lead Role.
