About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Safety Case Engineer to join our team at Assystem. As a Senior Safety Case Engineer, you will play a key role in leading projects for a range of clients across the UK nuclear industry, including new build projects, operating facilities, decommissioning, and waste management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the production of safety assessments for nuclear facilities, ensuring compliance with UK regulatory requirements and international standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, supporting bids for large and small projects and frameworks.
  • Contribute to business development, identifying new opportunities and growth areas for the company.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality projects, sharing knowledge and expertise to drive excellence.
Requirements
  • A degree in a relevant discipline, such as Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.
  • Significant experience (typically 7+ years) in the production of safety assessments for nuclear facilities.
  • A detailed understanding of UK regulatory requirements and international standards, particularly relating to Nuclear Safety Assessment.
