Job Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Education Support Specialist to join our partner school in Dover, Kent.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support classroom teachers with lesson preparation and delivery.
  • Assist individual students or small groups with learning activities.
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Provide one-on-one assistance to students with special educational needs (SEN).
  • Work collaboratively with staff to ensure the welfare and progress of students.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children (preferably in an educational setting).
  • A patient, caring, and supportive nature.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
  • Good communication skills and a proactive approach.
  • A willingness to support students with SEN and/or challenging behaviours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, but the option to make it permanent may become available at a later date.
