About the RoleVetro Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our client's team in Stafford. As a Senior Social Worker, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to vulnerable families, including parenting assessments, case management, and court evidence.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Reporting: Conduct thorough assessments and produce reports within set deadlines.
- Case Management: Chair meetings with professionals and agencies, maintain positive relationships, and facilitate placement planning.
- Program Leadership: Lead parenting programs and provide statements and court evidence when necessary.
- Referral and Placement: Handle referrals, facilitate placement planning meetings, and work towards achieving positive outcomes for children and families.
- Statutory Duties: Fulfill statutory duties in alignment with National Standards and Regulations.
- Qualifications: Degree or equivalent in Social Work.
- Experience: Ideally, experience in managing or supervising social workers.
- Registration: Current SWE registration.
- Skills: Demonstrated experience in specialist PAM's assessments and psychodynamic frameworks, proficiency in parenting programs and safeguarding practices, and confidence in providing court evidence.
- Competitive Salary: Up to £45,000.
