This full-time position is ideal for individuals with a background in residential childcare, dedicated to delivering exceptional care to young individuals. The preferred candidate should possess a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or an equivalent qualification and demonstrate a strong commitment to nurturing children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee resources to ensure a positive living environment for young residents
  • Guide the team in providing top-notch care
  • Effectively manage risks in accordance with organizational policies
  • Facilitate clear communication within the team and assess care plans
  • Participate in required training and attend team meetings
  • Advocate for young individuals and offer support through positive methods
  • Assume management duties in the absence of the primary Manager
  • Fulfill on-call responsibilities as necessary

Qualifications:

  • Valid manual driving license
  • Willingness to work flexible and non-standard hours
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent
  • Aspiring to progress towards a Registered Children's Home Manager role
  • Genuine passion for assisting children and young people
  • Strong ability to collaborate effectively within a team
