Role Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Technical Sales Engineer to join our team at Serve Group. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with new and existing customers, providing accurate and technically valid quotations, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Service and Quotation Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing them with accurate and technically valid quotations.
  • Regional Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in key regions, driving sales growth and profit margins.
  • Business Development: Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand our customer base.
  • Collaboration and Strategy: Work closely with our marketing and research and development teams to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to drive business growth.
  • Proposal Structuring: Ensure that all proposals are well-structured and include all necessary supporting information, submitted on time and in accordance with company policies.
  • Contract Management: Oversee commercial negotiations for new contracts and variations, managing agents and generating agreements.
  • Meetings and Communication: Provide regular updates and forecasts in sales meetings, attending client meetings and other customer interfaces as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in technical sales or engineering, preferably within the petrochemical industry.
  • Proven track record in sales and business development.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to read engineering drawings.
  • Familiarity with CAD design systems.
