BAE Systems Principal Human Factors Engineering Role

Job Summary:
This is a highly specialized role within the BAE Systems Human Factors team, responsible for assessing risks associated with human error and providing expert advice on Human Factors to support design, development, and operation of our submarines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Risk Assessment: Assessing risks associated with human error and providing expert advice on Human Factors
- Procedure Improvement: Working with cross-functional teams to improve procedures and reduce risk of unintended outcomes
- Design Review: Representing Human Factors at design technical reviews
- Design Substantiation: Conducting design substantiation reviews
- Safety Case Delivery: Safety Case delivery
Requirements:
- Degree in Human Factors or related field
- Proven experience in Human Factors engineering
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Salary: £80,000 - £110,000 per year, depending on experience
