As a Surgical First Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of our patients. Your expertise in medication administration and patient care will be essential in delivering exceptional healthcare services.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct assistance to surgeons during surgical procedures
  • Prepare and maintain the operating room environment
  • Anticipate surgeon needs and ensure a smooth workflow
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Adhere to strict infection control protocols

Requirements:
  • Valid NMC PIN and completed preceptorship for newly qualified nurses
  • 6 months of proven experience as a Surgical First Assistant
  • Valid right to work in the UK (Sponsorship not provided)
  • Proof of vaccinations/immunity
  • Enhanced DBS check on the update service
  • Proof of Mandatory training aligned to the Skills for Health UK CSTF standards
  • 2x Clinical References
