About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Surgical First Assistant to join our team at Greenstaff Medical. As a Surgical First Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons during operations, providing essential support and care to patients
  • Administer medications and treatments as required, ensuring patient safety and comfort
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care and outcomes
  • Participate in pre-operative and post-operative care, ensuring seamless patient transitions
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of excellence and patient-centered care
Requirements
  • Valid NMC PIN and completed preceptorship for newly qualified nurses
  • 6 months of proven experience as a Surgical First Assistant
  • Valid right to work in the UK (Sponsorship not provided)
  • Proof of vaccinations/immunity
  • Enhanced DBS check on the update service
  • Proof of Mandatory training aligned to the Skills for Health UK CSTF standards
  • 2x Clinical References
