Senior Theatre Practitioner Role

Guildford Hospital is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Theatre Practitioner to join our theatre team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing clinical and technical assistance during surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide skilled clinical and technical assistance as a member of the operating theatre team.
  • Act as a surgical first assistant, working closely with the operating surgeon to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Contribute to quality improvements and promote best practice within the theatre team.
  • Work across various specialities, including orthopaedic, general, gynaecology, and urology surgery.

Requirements:

  • Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration.
  • Surgical First Assistant Qualification.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Immediate Life Support provider.
  • Mentorship qualification.
