Security Officer

We are seeking a dedicated Security Officer to join our team at Securitas Security Services. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our site, while providing excellent customer service to our clients.
The ideal candidate will have a valid SIA Licence, 2 years of security experience, and a strong understanding of access control measures. You will be physically fit and able to patrol for extended periods, while also possessing excellent communication skills.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out internal and external patrols to ensure the security and integrity of the site.
- Managing access to the site at various control points, vehicle barriers, and reception stations.
- Performing musters, evacuations, and other roles as required in the event of an emergency.
- Conducting searches of vehicles and bags to maintain high security levels.
- Escorting and chaperoning VIPs and other visitors as needed.
- Issuing keys and performing locking and unlocking duties as detailed in the Assignment Instructions.
- Reporting and recording any faults, health and safety hazards, and unsafe working practices.
