Security Officer

We are seeking a dedicated Security Officer to join our team at Securitas Security Services. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our site, providing a safe and welcoming environment for our customers and employees.
The ideal candidate will have a valid SIA Licence, 2 years of security experience, and a strong commitment to customer service. You will be physically fit and able to patrol for extended periods, and have excellent communication skills.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out internal and external patrols, day and night, in all weather conditions to ensure the security and integrity of the site.
- Managing access to the site at various control points, vehicle barriers, and reception stations, ensuring adherence to access control measures and identification checks.
- Performing musters, evacuations, and other roles as required in the event of an emergency.
- Conducting searches of vehicles and bags to maintain high security levels and meet client requirements.
- Escorting and chaperoning VIPs and other visitors as needed.
- Issuing keys and performing locking and unlocking duties as detailed in the Assignment Instructions (AIs).
- Reporting and recording any faults, health and safety hazards, and unsafe working practices.
- Valid SIA Licence
- 2 years Security Experience
- 5 year checkable employment/education history
- Great customer service experience
- Strong spoken English
- Computer Literate
- Physically fit enough to patrol for 1+ hours
