Meridian Business Support is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Learning Mentor. This role is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people who require additional support.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a committed and caring individual to work closely with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to provide specialist advice and guidance to pupils. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the coordination and planning of programs of work, integrating specialist advice and practice into Individual Learning Plans (ILPs).
Key Responsibilities- Assist teachers in maintaining a safe and accessible learning environment, ensuring equipment is clean and available for pupils.
- Provide specialist advice and guidance as required, working closely with therapists and medical staff to support pupils' needs.
- Liaise with schools and other relevant bodies to gather information and coordinate programs of work.
- Integrate specialist advice and practice into ILPs, ensuring pupils receive tailored support.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with pupils, teachers, and other support staff. You will also need to be flexible, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
