Job Title: Senior Learning Mentor

Meridian Business Support is working in partnership with an educational establishment to provide full-time education for pupils who are permanently excluded, at risk of permanent exclusion, or unable to access a mainstream curriculum.

Job Summary

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic individual to undertake the role of Senior Learning Mentor. The successful candidate will provide support for pupils in a variety of situations, with a focus on addressing barriers to learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide mentoring sessions to support pupils in overcoming barriers to learning
  • Work with pupils who have additional needs, including those with behaviour challenges
  • Support pupils with Educational Health Care Plans
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement individual learning plans
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
