Meridian Business Support Limited is seeking an experienced Learning Mentor to join their team. The successful candidate will work with pupils who are permanently excluded, at risk of permanent exclusion, or unable to access education in mainstream settings.
Key Responsibilities- Provide academic support to pupils in a full-time education setting
- Develop and implement individualized learning plans to meet the needs of each pupil
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive approach to pupil support
- Monitor and record pupil progress, identifying areas for improvement and celebrating successes
The ideal candidate will have experience working with vulnerable young people, a strong understanding of the education system, and excellent communication skills. A degree in a relevant field and/or a teaching qualification is desirable.
