Project Manager Job Description

Ultra is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our Cyber business at a busy and exciting time. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for executing projects throughout the project life cycle in accordance with business strategy, standards, process, and policy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Project Management Plans to ensure timely and responsive completion of deliverables.
  • Create and maintain project Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
  • Identify stakeholders and create and maintain project Communications Plans.
  • Develop strategies for effectively engaging stakeholders in project decision and execution.
  • Manage and control costs as per the project budget.
  • Report and present project KPIs to Senior Management Team.
  • Manage project scope within defined time, budget, and quality objectives.
  • Identify and perform integrated change control.
  • Facilitate communications between key internal department resources.
  • Acquire, develop, and manage project team resources.
  • Mediate problems/issues encountered by project team members.
  • Manage external-facing customer relationships.
  • Support Procurement to establish and maintain key supplier relationships.
  • Conduct risk management planning, identification, analysis, and response planning.
  • Ensure project records are maintained and made available in accordance with project management processes and company policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Holds or can obtain a Project Management qualification (PMI, APM, or global equivalent).
  • Desirable for education of Bachelor's degree level or equivalent project experience.
  • An action-oriented person who drives results with strong customer focus.
  • Strong communicator with excellent leadership skills.
  • Highly ethical behavior, instills trust, and demonstrates and promotes Ultra values.
  • Proficient in planning and schedule management.
  • Competent in conflict management and communication, governance, resource and capacity management, business case generation, financial management and controls, risk management, procurement and subcontract management, and stakeholder management.
