About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Technical Assurance Manager to join our team on the HS2 project. As part of the Systems Engineering Technical Assurance Team, you will be responsible for demonstrating that the works carried out by the JV meet HS2's Employer requirements.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working at equivalent level in a project environment, preferably in rail infrastructure or construction projects. You should also have knowledge and experience of system engineering and assurance processes, as well as the regulatory environment and statutory obligations related to rail infrastructure or construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing the technical assurance strategy for several Design and Construction Work Packages.
  • Agreeing acceptance criteria with HS2 and ensuring that the requirements and design intent are delivered by the SCSJV and its subcontractors.
  • Delivering technical assurance communications such as staff briefings and awareness training.

Requirements:

  • A Chartered Engineer or significant experience of working at equivalent level in a project environment.
  • Experience of the application of system engineering and assurance processes, preferably in rail infrastructure or construction projects.
  • Knowledge and experience of the regulatory environment and statutory obligations related to rail infrastructure or construction projects.
