Job Title: Commercial Advisor - Contract Administration

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Advisor to join our team in Aberdeen, working on one of our Upstream contracts. As a key member of our Commercial function, you will play a crucial role in ensuring best-in-class contractual and commercial administration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maximize commercial performance while managing business/project risk (pre and post-contract)
  • Ensure compliance with relevant commercial/contracting policies
  • Resolution of disputes/claims and cash collection issues
  • Embedding effective commercial governance and assurance across the sub-Business Group / Project / Portfolio of Projects
  • Champion and promote the application of the Financial Management Framework guidelines
Requirements:
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Law, or Business Studies, along with appropriate professional qualification (preferred)
  • Good working knowledge and experience in commercial administration and procedures
  • Experience in drafting and interpretation of commercial documentation
  • Demonstrate commitment to Wood and client core values
  • Demonstrate commitment to Wood Commercial Process and Procedures
  • Strong user of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
