Senior Flood Risk Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Flood Risk Consultant to join our Water Environment team in London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading flood risk assessments and developing relationships with clients and regulators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement flood risk assessments in accordance with NPPF and TAN 15
- Lead hydrological and hydraulic modelling projects using Flood Modeler Pro or TUFLOW
- Collaborate with clients and regulators to understand their needs and develop effective solutions
- Manage and mentor junior team members to ensure their growth and development
- Contribute to business development and growth initiatives
Requirements:
- Strong Bachelor's degree in a water subject and/or higher degree
- Substantial experience in flood risk assessment and hydrological modelling
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Up-to-date knowledge of current planning policies and procedures
