About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Flood Risk Consultant to join our Water Environment team in London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading flood risk assessments and hydrological and hydraulic modelling projects, while mentoring and developing other consultants.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in flood risk assessment and hydrological and hydraulic modelling, with experience in working with clients and regulators. You will be responsible for developing relationships with clients and regulators, managing project finances, and preparing fee proposals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead flood risk assessments and hydrological and hydraulic modelling projects
  • Develop relationships with clients and regulators
  • Manage project finances and prepare fee proposals
  • Mentor and develop other consultants
  • Work in a design office environment and participate in design and site meetings
Requirements
  • Strong background in flood risk assessment and hydrological and hydraulic modelling
  • Experience in working with clients and regulators
  • Good communication and liaison skills
  • Ability to work under own initiative and coordinate with line manager's requirements
