We are seeking a skilled Data Steward to collaborate with our team at Brandgaard Recruitment Limited, a leading recruitment agency in the food industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and compliance of procurement and sales product and supplier data.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain deep domain knowledge of the food industry and its business processes
- Manage and maintain Master Data Management (MDM) processes, leveraging experience in similar stewardship roles
- Establish information policies and create, validate, and maintain definitions for stewarded data
- Collaborate with business teams to resolve data definition issues and enforce consistent data definition rules
- Review data quality metrics for procurement and sales product and supplier data and ensure high standards of data quality are maintained
- Ensure all data complies with relevant regulatory standards and internal policies
- Several years of experience in data stewardship, preferably within the food industry
- Extensive knowledge of procurement and sales product and supplier data
- Strong understanding of food industry business processes and regulations
- Proficiency in MDM tools and platforms
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high data quality standards
