Data Steward Role

We are seeking a skilled Data Steward to collaborate with our team at Brandgaard Recruitment Limited, a leading recruitment agency in the food industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and compliance of procurement and sales product and supplier data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain deep domain knowledge of the food industry and its business processes
  • Manage and maintain Master Data Management (MDM) processes, leveraging experience in similar stewardship roles
  • Establish information policies and create, validate, and maintain definitions for stewarded data
  • Collaborate with business teams to resolve data definition issues and enforce consistent data definition rules
  • Review data quality metrics for procurement and sales product and supplier data and ensure high standards of data quality are maintained
  • Ensure all data complies with relevant regulatory standards and internal policies
Requirements:
  • Several years of experience in data stewardship, preferably within the food industry
  • Extensive knowledge of procurement and sales product and supplier data
  • Strong understanding of food industry business processes and regulations
