About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Director of Allied Health Professionals to join our professional Corporate team.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in leading Clinical AHP health or care services at a senior level, with management responsibility and experience of working across a multi-disciplinary team.

They will also have a proven track record of managing and communicating difficult and complex information, as well as experience of AHP workforce planning, training and education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the NHS to deliver great patient care by using skills and experience to provide to our hard-working frontline NHS teams.
  • Use knowledge, experience and expertise to provide to our hard-working frontline NHS teams.
  • Contribute to the excellent experience our patients and service users have every day.

Person Specification

Essential

  • HCPC Registration Allied Health Professional
  • Educated to master degree level (or equivalent experience) with high level analytical skills and ability to translate vision into clear direction
  • Continued Professional Development including evidence of reflective practice, in service training, any courses/conferences attended and experience gained.

Desirable

  • Recognised postgraduate qualification MPhil/PhD Leadership Development Programme
