Penguin Recruitment is pleased to be working closely with a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy on the hire of a Regional Director of Planning. As Regional Director, you will be responsible for leading the planning team in the Norwich office, managing and leading the office and encouraging collaboration across a wider range of disciplines. The role will also involve assisting the Director of Planning in the overall management of the Planning Division as directed, and to be an ambassador for the company by winning new business and playing a prominent role in helping to develop the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Chartered membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute
  • Leading large-scale schemes and projects with a Planning degree and substantial professional experience
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills
  • Strong report writing skills and ability to review colleagues' work providing constructive feedback
  • A strong awareness of local politics and the interface between planning and politics
  • Exemplary knowledge and expertise of planning practice legislation across England and Wales
