Rutherford Briant is recruiting for an Audit Director to work for a leading regional firm. This role offers the opportunity to lead and manage audit engagements, ensuring exceptional quality and compliance.

Position Overview:

This firm is seeking an experienced and highly skilled professional to join their team as an Audit Director. As an Audit Director, you will play a critical role in leading and managing audit engagements, overseeing a portfolio of clients, and managing a team of auditors.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of auditors, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of audit engagements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop appropriate audit plans.
  • Review and evaluate internal controls, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
  • Provide strategic guidance to clients, assisting them in achieving their financial objectives.
Requirements:
  • Professional certification such as ACA/ACCA.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in auditing, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • In-depth knowledge of auditing standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

The estimated salary for this role is £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include a private healthcare plan and flexible benefits package.
