Job Title: Senior Sports Partnership Executive

Job Summary:

The Senior Sports Partnership Executive will play a key role in supporting the Sports Partnerships Manager and wider Partnerships team in delivering JD Sports' commercial football agreements. This will involve augmenting partner activation calendars, executing plans, and ensuring the effective utilization of marketing rights and commercial opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of specific activation calendars to maximize sports sponsorships, with a focus on commercial football partnerships.
  • Development and refinement of partnership activation strategies through regular review of partnerships' impact.
  • Liaison with partners to identify key stories and opportunities for creating activity that raises the profile of partnerships.
  • Production of relevant content for JD platforms, social media, and sponsor platforms, with a focus on product relevance.
  • Collaboration with internal departments and stakeholders for partner approvals and alignment of programs and initiatives.
  • Work with the JD Social and wider multi-channel teams to develop activity, competitions, and strategies that promote partnership activity.
  • Identification of opportunities for events and activations in-store, with a focus on local community engagement.
  • Assistance in activating photoshoots and campaign imagery for sponsored assets, alongside the creative team.
  • Monitoring of competitors and inspiration sources to report to the wider team.

Requirements:

  • Full and clean driving license.
  • Excellent knowledge of sports, primarily football.
  • Experience of planning and activating partnership agreements is preferred.
  • Wider sporting knowledge of other sports is advantageous.
  • Strong presentation skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a growing team in a fast-moving environment.
  • A willingness to learn new skills.
  • A willingness to work out of hours and travel where necessary.
