Mental Health Nurse for Learning Disabilities Specialist

Cygnet is seeking an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) / Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD) to join our team as a Maternity Cover. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation for females with a personality disorder.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding care, working closely with the management team to develop the service, and ensuring that individual care plans are complete and maintained. You will also have the opportunity to undertake further learning with our excellent apprenticeship scheme and enjoy a range of benefits, including expert supervision and support, employee referral scheme, and free health cash plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce high-quality written reports based on nursing assessments and observations
- Work closely with the management team to develop the service, audit, and improve quality
- Attend all training and engage in CPD to further knowledge and promote nursing
- Administer medicines within healthcare procedure and Healthcare Commission guidelines
Requirements:
- A good understanding of the latest nursing practices
- A commitment to patient recovery in order to effectively monitor, manage, and reduce risk
- Compassion, resilience, with a dedication to empower and support service user independence
- The ability to maintain documentation, undertake audits, and demonstrate integrity in your role
