About the Opportunity

This exciting opportunity has arisen to join the NHS AfC: Band 7 Rheumatology Clinical Nurse Specialist team at the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

About the Team:

The Rheumatology Team provides a wide range of services to patients with various rheumatological conditions. As a key member of the team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with consultants and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

About the Role:

  • As a Clinical Lead in Rheumatology, you will be responsible for developing and implementing clinical strategies to improve patient outcomes.
  • You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless delivery of care and services.
  • Decision-making, leadership, and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement clinical strategies to improve patient outcomes in rheumatology.
  2. Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless delivery of care and services.
  3. Make informed decisions regarding patient care and treatment options.
  4. Lead and manage the rheumatology team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
  5. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions.
  6. Ensure compliance with professional and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with extensive experience in rheumatology
  • Proven leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Estimated Salary Range: £46,148 - £52,809 per annum pro rata
