Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Gas and Oil Engineer to join our team at JBT Corporation. As a key member of our service and support team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers, ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to customers, troubleshooting and repairing equipment as needed, and ensuring that all issues are resolved in a timely and professional manner.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, including adjustments, part replacements, and synchronization of mechanisms.
  • Customer Communication: Communicate effectively with customers, providing clear and concise information on equipment operation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Training and Development: Assist in training customer technical support staff on equipment operation, sanitation, and maintenance best practices.
  • Travel and Location: Travel approximately 80-85% of the time, working remotely and visiting customer sites as needed.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: HND qualification or equivalent apprenticeship experience in a technical discipline, with a combination of light electrical and good mechanical skills.
  • Experience: Experience maintaining factory production equipment is not essential, but exposure to this would be beneficial, coupled with a working knowledge of PLC systems.
  • Skills: Strong technical skills, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
