Job Title: Commercial Gas Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team at John Bean Technologies Corporation. As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers, troubleshooting and repairing equipment, and promoting JBT services and OEM parts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to customers, including troubleshooting and repairing equipment
  • Conduct service calls and follow up on actions required to ensure timely completion and budget adherence
  • Liaise with Project Managers to communicate with customers and provide advice and support
  • Make suggestions and recommendations for improvements, modifications, and maintenance of equipment
  • Help train customer technical support staff on operation, sanitation, and maintenance best practices

Requirements:

  • Gas certification (COCN1, CIGA1, CDGA1) or equivalent
  • HND qualification or equivalent apprenticeship experience in a technical discipline
  • Experience maintaining factory production equipment and working knowledge of PLC systems
  • Desirable: experience with forced draft package burners (Weishaupt and Riello)
