Job Title: Commercial Gas and Oil Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Gas and Oil Engineer to join our team at JBT Corporation. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers, ensuring the smooth operation of our gas and oil equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to customers, including troubleshooting and repair of gas and oil equipment.
  • Travel to customer sites to diagnose and repair equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Liaise with project managers to coordinate service orders and communicate with customers regarding equipment issues.
  • Train customer technical support staff on operation, sanitation, and maintenance best practices for our gas and oil equipment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver world-class projects and ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • HND qualification or equivalent apprenticeship experience in a technical discipline, with a combination of light electrical and good mechanical skills.
  • Experience maintaining factory production equipment is not essential, but exposure to this would be beneficial, coupled with a working knowledge of PLC systems.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive starting salary of £45,000, with an OTE of £55-59,000.
