About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Support Worker to join our team in North Lanarkshire. As a key member of our Lanarkshire Supported Living Service, you will play a vital role in providing personalised and flexible support to individuals living in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver housing support and facilitate access to services and resources outlined in the support planning process.
  • Implement outcome-focused, person-centred support plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Maintain professional relationships with individuals and their families, while upholding a positive reputation for Penumbra mental health services.
  • Work independently in the community, supporting individuals in their own homes, and occasionally in a team setting.
Requirements
  • Driving license and access to a car are essential for this role.
  • Ability to work lone shifts and support individuals 7 days a week, including evenings and weekends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building trust and rapport with individuals and their families.
  • Knowledge of mental health principles and practices, with a commitment to recovery-focused support.
