Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Manager to join our team at Low Carbon Contracts Company. As a Contract Manager, you will be responsible for the implementation and execution of contracts related to renewable energy, carbon capture, and hydrogen initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Implementation & Execution: Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including project developers, government representatives, and other key partners.
  • Contract Monitoring & Compliance: Vigilantly monitor contract performance, ensuring compliance with key milestones and conducting on-site progress assessments.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Monitor and report on construction progress, financial implications, and potential risks, offering insights that drive decision-making.
  • Continuous Improvement & Training: Champion best practices in contract management, mentoring junior team members and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  • Analysis & Advisory: Provide expert analysis and advisory services to support the development and implementation of contracts.

Requirements:

  • Operational contract management experience: A minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience in the operational delivery of construction or energy contracts, with a STEM-related degree or 4+ years of relevant experience without a degree.
  • Contract reviews: Experience in contract reviews, including change management and administration, claim/dispute management and settlement.
  • Leadership skills: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and develop junior team members.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary: £45,000 - £78,000 dependent on experience (pro rata for part time).
