  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including colleagues in the EU and US teams, to ensure consistency in legal advice.

  • Manage workload, prioritize tasks, and balance multiple requests and competing priorities, remaining calm under pressure.

  • Work independently and collaboratively, coming up with initiatives to improve the team and drive business success.

  • Qualification as a lawyer in one or more European jurisdictions with a civil law system, with significant experience in commercial law and contract negotiation.
  • Fluent in German and English, with additional language skills (Spanish or French) a plus.
  • Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Training or experience working in Germany or on German contracts or projects, with experience in additional jurisdictions a plus.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and work ethic, with strong ethical standards and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information, with strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working independently or in a team, with agility and judgment to balance multiple requests and competing priorities.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, including verbal communication and writing skills.
  • Proven leadership skills, including experience developing others.
