Job Title: Academic Training Programme Lead

The NHS England is seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Academic Training Programme Lead. This position involves coordinating training across the region, working with learners or doctors in training in an educational context, and striving for high standards of patient-centred care.

About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled individual with considerable experience in training delivery in service and education. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing doctors who commit themselves to a lifetime of professional development. The role requires close collaboration with the Head of School to achieve this purpose.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinating training programs across the region
- Working with learners or doctors in training in an educational context
- Striving for high standards of patient-centred care

Requirements:
- Primary clinical healthcare qualification and currently working at consultant level or equivalent in the specialty school area
- Considerable experience of working with learners or doctors in training in an educational context including training delivery in service and education

Working Conditions:
The successful candidate is expected to spend, on average, at least 40% of their time working in-person. The location of work will be within the NHS England premises.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
