Taylor Woodrow is seeking a Digital Information Manager to contribute to our framework with Network Rail. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, this role will be integral to delivering geotechnical and off-track drainage work as part of the Wales and Western region's £2 billion program of works.
Your Responsibilities:
- Deeply understand and communicate how Building Information Modeling (BIM) will influence project workflows, deliverables, and project management across Taylor Woodrow.
- Manage and coordinate the development, implementation, and enforcement of BIM standards across all related projects, files, and models for both our Commercial and Industrial groups.
- Develop a comprehensive work plan/roadmap for the development, implementation, and quality assurance checks required for full BIM integration within assigned projects at Taylor Woodrow.
- Manage information exchange data for the Project according to Plan Of Work (RIBA, CIC, etc.).
- Produce Responsibility Matrices and manage Information Delivery Plans throughout the project lifecycle.
- Master Master Information Delivery Plan (MIDP) dependencies and produce information exchange datasets at stage ends.
- Implement the following standards: ISO19650 Part 1- Part2-Part3-Part4-Part 5, BS17412, PAS1192 part6. Previous knowledge of BS/PAS 1192 is optional. Knowledge of BS8536:2020 and ISO 16739 and ISO10303 part 22/42/43. Survey Strategy: ISO19107, ISO19111, ISO19115, ISO19130, ISO19157, ISO19166.
- Manage workflows of other disciplines within Digital Engineering (VDC/BIM/GIS).
- Assist in developing and enforcing BIM documentation and workflow process standards.
Your Profile:
- Proven experience in the implementation and management of digital engineering within a construction environment.
- Experience working on a rail project is advantageous but not essential.
- Thorough understanding of industry standards: BS 1192:2007, PAS 1192-2:2013 and PAS 1192-3:2014 is mandatory.
